AI Visibility Analytics

HitKeep gives teams server-side AI crawler analytics for the pages AI systems fetch, the pages that later receive AI-referred visits, and the on-site assistants that help create outcomes. Browser tracking captures AI-referred human visits. Server-side ingest captures AI crawler fetches.

HitKeep AI visibility correlation report showing fetched pages and later AI-referred visits
AI visibility correlation keeps crawler fetches and later AI-referred human visits separate.

Use this path when you need to answer:

  • which AI systems fetch your pages
  • whether GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, or other known AI crawlers are reaching important content
  • which pages get crawled but do not turn into visits
  • which AI-referred pages lead to goals, funnels, or ecommerce events
  • whether an on-site assistant creates useful handoffs or assisted conversions
  • how AI discovery fits beside normal web analytics

How server-side AI crawler analytics works

Section titled “How server-side AI crawler analytics works”

Browser analytics cannot reliably see AI crawler fetches because those requests usually do not run your JavaScript tracker. HitKeep records them through a server-side ingest path:

AI crawler request -> edge/origin logs -> POST /api/sites/{id}/ingest/ai-fetch -> AI Visibility

Forward request metadata from the place that can observe crawler traffic: an app server, nginx, Caddy, ALB, CloudFront logs, or another edge layer. HitKeep keeps those fetch records separate from normal human pageviews, then correlates fetched paths with later AI-referred visits.

For static sites and CloudFront-hosted properties, start with AI Fetch on AWS. For API access, use scoped API clients rather than dashboard sessions.

HitKeep AI visibility dashboard with fetch KPI cards, assistant filters, and crawl demand reporting
AI visibility shows assistant families, fetch volume, failures, and fetch-to-visit context.

HitKeep tracks AI crawler fetches separately from human visits. This avoids treating crawl volume as demand.

HitKeep AI chatbot analytics with conversation, handoff, citation, and assisted conversion reporting
AI chatbot analytics connects assistant activity to outcomes instead of stopping at message counts.

AI visibility is a strong cloud pilot because the fastest useful result is live data from a real site. Start in EU or US Cloud, add one domain, forward AI crawler fetch records, and compare AI visibility, events, goals, and funnels before deciding whether self-hosting matters.

SEO agencies can use AI visibility as a 14-day client pilot. Start with one content-heavy site, install the browser tracker, forward crawler fetch records from the server or edge, and use the correlation report to find pages that get AI interest but weak downstream visits.

Use the AI visibility agency pilot kit and AI SEO reporting template when the output needs to be client-ready.
