Getting Help
HitKeep is an open-source project developed on GitHub. We rely on the community to help identify bugs and suggest new features.
GitHub Issues
Section titled “GitHub Issues”The primary way to get help or provide feedback is through our GitHub Issues.
Reporting Bugs
Section titled “Reporting Bugs”If you encounter unexpected behavior, crashes, or errors:
- Search existing issues: Someone else might have already reported it.
- Open a new Issue: Include as much detail as possible:
- Version of HitKeep (run
./hitkeep -versionor check the logs). - Your configuration (flags or
compose.yml). - Logs or error messages.
- Steps to reproduce the issue.
Feature Requests
Section titled “Feature Requests”Have an idea for a new metric, integration, or architectural improvement?
- Check if the idea is already on our Roadmap or existing issues.
- Open an issue with the Feature Request label.
- Describe the problem you are trying to solve and your proposed solution.
General Questions
Section titled “General Questions”If you are having trouble setting up HitKeep and the Installation Guides don’t cover your specific scenario, feel free to open an issue asking for assistance. We aim to build a knowledge base from these interactions.
